Jacques Towbar Services commenced business in 2013 offering a basic mobile capability before moving into our present fully equipped garage where we provide our customers with a wider range of products and first-class customer service. Steven Jacques has over 18 years as a qualified mechanic and is knowledgeable on all aspects of vehicle repair and towbar installation.
To have your number plates made you will need to bring the correct documents with you. The law states that you must provide current proof of identity and proof of entitlement to the registration mark (vehicle reg) quoted in order to get replacement number plates.

Personally think it was very badly organised, cancelled on the morning of original fitting date, then on day of next fitting date once arrived to be informed that they had the wrong dedicated loom delivered so needed to use a different method, originally told dedicated was the way to go once wrong part delivered then told dedicated loom not best option. Rear bumper was damaged when fitting, after calling them up to say it was damaged was told they would rectify it by getting someone they knew to fix it, decided I'd rather pay for damage to be fixed at my cost than take it back to them after experience

Don’t be mislead by this company’s description both Steve and Garith offer a fantastic diversity where anything Motorhome is concerned.
They completed a rear suspension upgrade on my Renault Trafic based Motorhome, dealt with an uncooperative supplier and performed a not so easy task with a friendly and professional attitude.
I tried multiple so called suspension specialists and without an exception I was immediately given the “sharp intake of breath” when I mentioned a Motorhome not based on the Fiat Ducato.
Not so with Jacques they dealt with my suspension problem from start to completion

Simply excellent. I’ve recently had a solar panel fitted to my VW Camper along with a full electrical check. Had a towbar fitted a couple of years ago too. I highly recommend Steven from Jacques. How refreshing to find a company where customer service is at the forefront of the business. The Towbar and electrics were expertly fitted to a high standard meeting my requirements perfectly and also at a very acceptable price. I would have no problem recommending them to anyone, nothing was too much trouble while we awaited the work to be completed.

Query regarding tow bar socket working. Said pop it in for them to test , but too busy until after bank holiday to do any work if required. Just dropped down there. Chap tested it and checked various wiring in car. Faulty socket as suspected. Took me through and printed diagrams for me to complete job myself. Sold the new socket and wiring for £10. Very impressed with service and friendliness. Would thoroughly recommend based on this experience.
