Welcome to Kenyon-Roberts Upholstery, a traditional upholtsery workshop located in Tarland, Aberdeenshire. We specialise in re-upholstering domestic furniture using both traditional and modern techniques, from simply recovering a set of tired dining chairs with new fabric to completely stripping back a cherished family piece and re-building it from the frame up.

I've just completed a 2 day course and successfully completed my project. I'm a complete beginner and found that Michelle was great at explaining and demonstrating each stage of the process. I had a lovely weekend with all of the ladies and I can't wait to attend another course later in the year!

Michelle did a wonderful job re-upholstering our sofa. It was a mess after our dog had caused a huge rip in the fabric and foam. The sofa looks fantastic and you would have do idea of the previous damage! Michelle is a very talented lady!

Michelle transformed a much loved family chair which I am now so proud of it really looks lovely,I also asked if she would be able to re-do the back and seat of a Reimpie chair (from South Africa)with strips of hide and was so pleased when she accepted the challenge take a look at the pictures it's amazing. I just wish I had more chairs that need re-upholstered as it is such a pleasurable very professional experience going to visit Michelle and her assistant!

Beautiful restoration
I bought 2 parker knoll chairs cheaply at an auction and Michelle made a beautiful job of recovering and restoring them in a more appropriate fabric for my house. I now love them more than the new ones I bought earlier in the year. They are so comfortable. She is a very talented woman and I would certainly use again without any hesitation.

I contacted Michelle with an urgent requirement for my camper van cushions and she accommodated me in her very busy schedule and managed to finish them well before what was originally discussed.
