Pookie Womenswear is a truly unique ladies clothing and accessories boutique founded in 2006. Located at the historic tourist and shopping destination Pot House Hamlet in the beautiful village of Silkstone, near Barnsley. Situated in The Old Glassworks award winning building, it's out of town location, bespoke surroundings and relaxing environment make it a must to visit.
Directions From the M1 motorway exit at junction 37. Follow the A628 to Manchester for approximately two miles. Follow the brown tourist signs for Pot House Hamlet which will take you right into Silkstone village. Pot House Hamlet is at the bottom of the hill on the left just below Silkstone Church.

I've only just discovered this place recently but have bought a wonderful peach dress for a christening the first time I went and a gorgeous purple handbag the second time for another family event! I shall be returning bringing more friends to enjoy the the very reasonably priced Pookies and friendly, helpful staff!

Just discovered Pookie by chance whilst driving through Silkstone. I was looking for a sweater, but in the well appointed shop, I found an excellent selection of quality garments at very reasonable prices. The staff were very friendly and helpful and overall it was a memorable shopping experience. I will certainly be shopping with pookie again in the future.
