In 1982, colleagues Keith Riches and Ian McKay took the decision to resign from their roles as management for a national radiator company and go it alone. The outcome was Advanced Radiators Limited, a radiator repair shop for automotive, truck and heavy plant machinery in Newcastle upon Tyne.
With Keith and Ian's drive and determination, combined with an incredibly skilled workforce, Advanced soon became the leading radiator repair shop in the North East of England.Vehicle registration made up plates and components were another part to the business, to which becoming a DVLA registered supplier allowed Advanced to supply garages, motor factors, car dealers, body shops and retail alike.
