At Lancashire Law we understand that, following the death of a loved one, you may need a professional to assist you in managing their affairs. We appreciate what a stressful time this is and aim to provide a professional and caring service at a very difficult time. If there is a Will you may need to apply for a Grant of Probate in order to handle the deceased's assets.
People can become unable to manage their own affairs at any stage of life, an accident, physical ill health or the onset of mental illness may make everyday routines of paying bills, managing a budget and making financial decisions difficult and stressful and, in some cases, impossible. Lancashire Law believes that it s worth planning ahead.

Although they got me over the line and the girls are nice, their final invoice was around £500 more than what I was given at quote stage. Given that price point was a huge factor as to why I went with them, I was very disappointed to see this. After many back and forth (via email, no calls were 'permitted' to discuss this issue) I conceded and just paid. However, a warning to those thinking of using Lancashire Law - Make sure you are clear on costs throughout!

Wonderful service and they communicated with me all the way through and answered my (many) queries in a timely manner. They made what was a stressful situation that much easier. 5/5 would recommend. Thank you to the team at Lancashire Law

My gran is selling and was forced to use these by her estate agent.
They said if she does not use them then the house wont sell.
She is venerable and this company inflated their costs and paid the estate agent £500 at her expense.
I really am furious and wish we found out before it was all finished.
I complained to the young trainee solicitor as know one else seems to work there but she was very rude and arrogant, told me to take it up with the agent as they inflated her costs. Customers beware!
RESPONSE. Your client care letter says you pay Barton a referral fee to send customers and then

Never once in the whole 7 month through my process of the right to buy scheme did I speak with my solicitor that I appointed it was always the trainee.
Always chasing them after sending them what they needed and not always getting a response until I phoned them.
I found the trainee quite arrogant at times and just giving me one worded answers. And not really explaining nor sounding interested when I would be asking questions.
Also felt like she was always trying to get me off the phone when I still had questions. Even after completion weeks later I get a phone call saying they've made an error

My buyer has used this solicitor. They have delayed the process for the entire time they don't answer calls or emails and then expect to exchange and complete with no notice. They have caused the entire process to take 6 months and have made me reconsider selling all together. Every email comes from a "Trainee Solicitor"

Absolutely flabbergasted. NEVER EVER WRITTEN A REVIEW ONLINE BEFORE BUT FELT IT IS MY MORAL DUTY TO DO SO NOW!appalling service.incompetent, can't believe people get away with service like this in this day and age...avoid at all cost. Mistake after mistake. Had to sign purchase contract with receptionist because solicitor failed to turn up for meeting booked 2weeks in advance. 3 weeks after purchase was completed received email stating they calculated stamp duty incorrectly and please pay outstanding amount on that day or else HMRC will incur penalties. Didn't even have the decency to make a phone

Extremely unhelpful, my husband’s grandmother passed away 14 months ago, he was left her house as only living relative. The house sale was completed over 3 weeks ago, other beneficiaries have been paid almost immediately, he hasn’t. As he wasn’t the executor of the Will, Belinda declines all his calls, is extremely rude, and quite honestly the… whole process has been handled appallingly. They also didn’t tell us documents had been lost for court and had to be resent. We are currently filing a complaint to the relevant services, paying a few thousand pounds for this

We have recently moved into our home at the start of lockdown, and Belinda was integral to our sale / purchase moving forwards still. From writing letters just in case we were stopped by the police (thankfully the house we were purchasing was vacant so we were able to progress during lockdown) and answering all my worried calls, she really went above and beyond. The day of the move (both exchange / completion day) was extremely stressful and if it wasn't for Belinda chasing both our buyer's solicitors and seller's solicitors, we really would have been without a home for the day. Thankfully, it

Lancashire Law were recommended by our mortgage broker and have dealt with our purchase in a very professional and efficient manner.
We have had several issues with the purchase (all unforeseeable and out of our control) but they have proven to be very supportive and efficient in communicating and dealing with the issues as they arise.
Not all house purchases are straight forward but to have Ellie and Belinda in our corner has taken some of the stresses away.
I would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody.

Excellent service. We used Lancashire Law to sell our property which was a really hassle free experience, and completed within a few weeks which is far quicker than the average.
We also used Lancashire Law to purchase a new property. We thought the service from Ellie and Belinda was excellent, despite many challenges they always looked to provide solutions to problems, putting the solicitors acting for other parties to shame.
If I ever moved house again I wouldn't hesitate to use Lancashire Law.
