Hooks Removals are a friendly, reliable and professional removal company in York serving the whole of the UK. Our aim is to help our customers, before moving day, on the day of your removal itself and afterwards should you need any further assistance. Please contact us for a free estimate and friendly advice.
We use Stadium Storage in the centre of York. The units are all clean, dry, secure and accessible. We will provide you with your own key, so that should you need to, you can visit your unit in office hours. We can pick up your belongings from any location and take them to our storage facilities at your convenience.

The guys, Drew and Peter, made moving our heavy bits of furniture out of storage a breeze. They even went the extra mile and volunteered to move everything into one unit from two. Blown away by their excellent service, all done with a smile and friendly chatter. Definitely will be using again and recommend this company wholeheartedly. One very grateful customer. Thanks guys. Hooks removals did a house move for us this week. The two guys were great, very helpful and professional, worked really hard and quickly (in 28 degree heat!) whilst always being polite and friendly. They took loads of stress out of the day by their calm and helpful approach. Very good at getting furniture up stairs and round corners without leaving a single mark. I would definitely recommend them.

Was recommended by a friend and we booked Hooks removals for our house move. From start to finish they were absolutely brilliant. Communication when booking and reaching a moving date was excellent and always prompt when replying to emails. Even flexible on a last minute (the day before the move) change of timings.
On the day of the move they were brilliant. Friendly guys who just got on with the job with no complaints at all! Could not fault them at all and certainly would recommend to anyone moving house!!

We had quite a complicated move - two households into one and some old stuff to clear, plus some to go to storage, and we kept having delays with our house completion as well. Hooks were really helpful and easy to deal with throughout all of this, and remained good-humoured, professional and efficient throughout. They managed to pick up and move things and squeeze them through tight doorways that we wouldn't have thought possible! Definitely recommend Hooks.

I'd like to make a warm recommendation for Hooks Removals. They moved us recently: not far door to door, but there were various complicating factors. Narrow access for loading. Four floors' worth of stuff in one house to carry down and out, pack, and unload into three floors - umpteen stairs! Delay getting access to the new place, and time therefore short; complicated layouts. Not to mention Covid restrictions.
They were courteous and unflappable throughout. They just kept on going and made light of any difficulties. Moving is never easy, but Hooks Removals made the mechanics of it all as simple
