Here at Carnforth Pet Care we're proud of our family run independent veterinary practice and of the personal, professional service we provide to pets and their owners. Care, compassion and continuity are at the heart of everything we do - every owner who walks through our doors can rest assured their pet is in the best of hands.
We're all pet owners and we understand the joy, fun and companionship that caring for a pet can bring. We know that your pets deserve continuity of care for every aspect of their lives - from medical needs to lifestyle advice. We'll always take into account your wishes, needs and your budget. Sometimes that takes time and patience - so we'll never rush through an appointment or cut corners.

Services
I am passionate about providing the highest level of care to all pets at any time of day and providing 24 hour on site care to our inpatients. I believe that no pet should be left unattended when they are unwell; they should be regularly assessed by the vet through the night and given appropriate treatment and care all night.
I started at Carnforth Pet Care as a work experience Student in 2018, while studying animal management. I am now an apprentice studying veterinary nursing at Myerscough with Sabrina as my clinical coach. My love for animals started from a young age when getting involved with the young farmers community.
I've been working in companion animal practice in the North West since I qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2014. I enjoy the great variety of general practice but I am particularly interested in medical conditions such as diabetes and epilepsy. I am currently working towards completing a Post Graduate Certificate in Small Animal Medicine.
Before devoting my time fully to Carnforth Pet Care, I served as a design engineer, project manager and product life cycle manager in both the Medical and Subsea industries. I am passionate about providing and maintaining the high standards of care we deliver to all our customers and their pets. I designed and project managed the build of our practice in collaboration with our vets to ensure the space worked for our clients' needs.
I qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2002. During my career I have worked in a variety of roles from senior nurse, practice manager and owning my own practice. My interests are practice management, nurse clinics and animal behaviour which I am currently working towards extra qualifications.
My drive and passion for animals started as a young girl by reading books such as James Herriot, which helped build my values and vision for providing care and compassion to our furry friends.I am thoroughly enjoying my role at Carnforth Pet Care working alongside an amazing team that share the same passion as myself.

This vets is independent not part of a money making group so more interest in the animals rather than profit. My dog had soft tissue damage most vets would give a jab of Metacam but here just gave me some oral type to give myself. Makes the bill cheaper. Vet took an interest in the dog 🐕 very pleased with the attention and the cost. Will be going again for the dogs annual jabs.

Having had problems with another Vet in the area ( who shall remain nameless ) and being without any firm idea or what was wrong with our much loved 8 year old cat ( not eating or moving for days! ) We found Carnforth Pet Care online and rang them immediately. She was correctly diagnosed that morning and went straight to surgery with a dangerous, life threatening condition.
Needless to say we are delighted and very grateful to the staff at Carnforth Pet Care. Our cat is back to her old self after just a few days. We cannot be more impressed with the level of professionalism and care.
