T.G.Green acquired his Derbyshire pottery in 1864. It wasn't until 1920 that Cornishware was launched as a functional kitchenware range. Its striking design soon became part of the English way of life. Since then, the range has grown to create a highly collectable and usable set of items that work in the modern home.
St. Eval craft handmade candles inspired by nature using traditional, artisan methods and sustainable production on their farm in North Cornwall. Handmade artisan soaps, skincare products and candles produced in an idyllic Cornish workshop on the beautiful Fowey Estuary which means a real person measures, weighs, mixes, stirs, pours, cuts, labels and wraps each and every product created.
Locally born artist, Brian Hoskin, grew up in the busy fishing port of Looe. His father, uncles and grandfather were all local boatmen and Brian spent most of his early years working on his father's boats, swimming and fishing. On leaving school he attended Falmouth and Exeter colleges of Art and left in 1984 with a degree in graphic design to find work as an illustrator in London.
It has been said that sometime, somewhere you might recognise a friend, relation, or even yourself, in one of my paintings. After a lifetime of factory work I took up painting as a hobby. I was never very good a painting at school, so I am definitely self taught. I paint life as I see it, and am quite surprised at how popular my work has become.

Really friendly shop and a pleasure to look around. Bought a lovely bracelet this year and a beautiful tiny milk jug last year. Look forward to visiting next holiday.

Fantastic place and a real gem to find along the Cornish coastline. Lots of wonderful local pieces of art and produce (with nearby car park and pub)! Definitely recommend a visit!
