T.G.Green acquired his Derbyshire pottery in 1864. It wasn't until 1920 that Cornishware was launched as a functional kitchenware range. Its striking design soon became part of the English way of life. Since then, the range has grown to create a highly collectable and usable set of items that work in the modern home.

Locally born artist, Brian Hoskin, grew up in the busy fishing port of Looe. His father, uncles and grandfather were all local boatmen and Brian spent most of his early years working on his father's boats, swimming and fishing. On leaving school he attended Falmouth and Exeter colleges of Art and left in 1984 with a degree in graphic design to find work as an illustrator in London.
It has been said that sometime, somewhere you might recognise a friend, relation, or even yourself, in one of my paintings. After a lifetime of factory work I took up painting as a hobby. I was never very good a painting at school, so I am definitely self taught. I paint life as I see it, and am quite surprised at how popular my work has become.
