Services
Harrimans, a family business established in Chard in 1910, by Edgar Harriman, followed by his son John, known as Jack, who took over until his death in 2010. The current owner Sam Tuffin joined the Chard shop as a Saturday girl in 1983 and subsequently started at the Ilminster branch two years later, becoming a partner in the late nighties and taking over fully in 2010.
Dinner suits, morning wear and lounge suits are available to buy or hire, plus all the finishing touches to complete your outfit. As our space is limited we keep a small range of suits from budget 3 piece suits at 100 ideal for proms, to our basic wool rich mix and match, which comes in a traditional, slightly tailored and a slimmer fit option and a range of plain colours and stripes for 150/200 including a waistcoat.
From your traditional gent wanting a pair of Farah trousers to your more contemporary guy in search of Wrangler jeans and shirts we have it all. You will find rails of traditional brands such as Gabicci, Gurteen, Drifter and Peter Gribby to cover a wide range of both tops and bottoms. For a more fashionable slimmer fit you may find Remus, Lizard King, Southern Comfort and Maddox Street are a little more appealing.

Tuff stuff work trousers in a hard wearing poly cotton or cordura fabric are the base of our workwear, with shirts padded or standard weight, base layers, hats, gloves and neckwarmers, functional bodywarmers and safety boots all available at reasonable prices. There are waterproof jackets and trousers for winter and cargo shorts for summer.
