Parsec Consulting Engineers, which is head-quartered in the North East town of Darlington, established its mechanical and electrical design consultancy in 2004 and has since serviced clients in the building services, renewable energy and sustainability sectors. Founded by managing director Shaun Ackerley in 2004, our team takes enormous pride in producing outstanding mechanical and electrical design solutions.
Our team has experience of working in the oil and gas industry both on and offshore. To date, we have provided designs, drawings, schedules and specifications for both on and offshore modules for Allseas UK, Conwy County Borough Council and Siemens. We have also provided schemes for control centres and HVAC applications for HV/LV switch rooms and compressor stations.
Using our SBEM modelling software and licenses with CIBSE, we can provide non-domestic Display Energy Certificates (DECs) and commercial Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) up to and including Level 4. We can visit your site and provide a full report on where you can save energy and costs, while reducing your carbon footprint.
Building Research Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM) is an internationally recognised assessment process for determining the sustainability benchmark against buildings of equal type. It is becoming normal in the planning process to apply BREEAM for new builds and refurbishments. Many blue-chip companies are recognising that this assessment method is an indicator of their commitment to sustainability.
