Lincolnshire County Cricket
Lincolnshire Cricket act as the delivery arm for the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) for cricket all over the county. We work within all areas of cricket from grass roots to club, county and youth cricket. Over the past few years we have seen cricket grow in terms of participation and sporting excellence and we have witnessed wonderful examples of teamwork and determination.

We run cricket courses in Primary and Secondary schools across Lincolnshire, this year aiming to engage upwards of 8000 children in school activity up and down the county.
Services
We have a number of Indoor cricket leagues that talks place over the winter months across the county, for adults and kids, competitive and friendly. Central Lincs - Adult social league (Double Dozen), Adult Indoor League (Lincoln & District League), U11 and U13 competitive leagues (Double Dozen). Please contact martin.shillito@lincscricket.co.uk for more details on how to get your team/club involved.
Double Dozen is a new and unique game of indoor cricket which is fun, fast paced and available to all no matter what your age or ability. This fun and social 8-a-side game brings a new form of exciting cricket to the winter months with unique rules such as double scoring zones. No equipment is needed for this game and teams are often of mixed ability and include both men and women.
Club forums are an ideal mechanism to enable effective communication with all clubs in the county. We aim to run 2 forums per year across the 4 areas of the county (North, Central, East and South). All clubs are welcome and encouraged to attend a forum in their locality.

This platform gives us the opportunity to let clubs know what we are doing nationally at ECB level and countywide and also a vital conduit for sharing good practice between clubs.
As part of the notional Clubmark Programme through the ECB the vast majority of clubs in Lincolnshire with junior sections are now Clubmark accredited or working towards accreditation. We support clubs through this process and recognise the importance in helping each club to become even more effective, safe and child friendly.
We offer clubs a range of support in terms of grant aid development ranging from supporting bids as a referee, supporting clubs with preparation plus planning and delivery of a grant aid bid. The sources of grant support available are varied and include funds from the ECB, Sport England, Local Authorities, County Council, and Private funding streams.
