Based near Dover in Kent, First Aid at Work (Training) Associates have a team of over 25 first aid trainers/assessors working throughout the UK. Due to our wide variety of skills we are able to offer courses other than First Aid. Although we are based in Kent, we offer training courses nationally. Our first aid and health and safety training courses are certificated and meet the full requirements of the health and safety at work regulations ensuring that trainees have the confidence to take charge in an emergency.

Established in 1984 by Ann Welti, our organisation trains First Aid personnel across a wide range of work environments and industries including care homes, construction, catering, leisure, sport, agriculture, education, and cross-channel transportation. A measure of our success is the long-term relationship we have with many local organisations.

The Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 state that re-qualification training should cover the topics of the full FAW course in sufficient detail to ensure delegates are competent on completion. At the end of the course the delegates will receive an Emergency First Aid at Work certificate which is valid for three years.
This course is designed to give parents and carers of children the confidence to deal with emergencies and is approved by the Paediatric First Aid Association. At the end of the course all successful delegates will receive a Paediatric First Aid certificate which is valid for three years. Topics covered will relate to the time available and the needs of the group.
