Cliff House was built in the 1830's by a Merchant for use as his own house. During the early 1900's the house was rented and then purchased by the Horsfall family, Jock Horsfall was a famous Aston Martin Racing Driver who stored his fabulous collection of cars in what is now our new bar! During the war Jock was a driver for MI5 and was involved in 'Operation mincemeat' an operation which was turned into a film called 'The Man Who Never Was'.

I Absolutely Love Staying here, Surrounded by stunning Views, nature at its best. Peaceful, Calming and set to a high standard. Showers around the park are all clean and large, thier is a separate Disabled toilet if needed. The restaurant/bar is wonderful and i also fully recommended the food here, the interior is beautifully designed and clean. Each time I and my family have stayed we have always had a easy book in. Staff are all very friendly and helpful.
Can't wait to stay again soon. No matter the weather, seasons have different beauty's sunsets over the sea to the morning mist on the nearby

A large site with spacious pitches. The restaurant is nice but the menu is very limited. The toilet/shower blocks are well maintained and kept clean. Great location right next to the beach. However, for us there are more negatives than positives. The pitches are poorly laid out, we constantly had people walking across our pitch to get to the block, also the pitches are mostly in tree cover. Nothing to do with the site but the 02 network is very hit and miss. The main problem for us was noise. From 6.20 onwards there would either be dustcarts on site emptying the large bins or noise from the maintenance

Lovely camp site in a very rural location. Shop closed due to Covid so make sure you have everything you need. Not great for disabled people as beach down a long staircase. Disabled shower dangerous as wet room soon floods an nowhere dry for your clothes. Main showers much better an no complaints. Great food in the restaurant.

Lovely cliff walks, tree lined pitches, restaurant/bar, very clean toilets/showers, steps down to a quiet beach.
Only reason no 5th star is that shop was closed and you have to keep pressing the shower button every 15 seconds....it could have given us a bit longer before it kept cutting off...
Otherwise it's a lovely site and attracts decent people...
All pictures were taken on the camp site..
