The installation of a new fibre optic backbone schedule of works took just under 12 months to implement, once complete this enabled the provision of a truly resilient edge layer to all trust hardware with improved connectivity speeds to all divisions across the site. These technology enhancements have been integral in providing clinicians and nursing staff with access to key clinical information at the point of care.
