The Name Hec which is short for Heston Engineering Company has been around since the beginning of the 1970's and originated in Heston. In 1972 the business was moved to Silverdale Road in Hayes and a few years later to Cranleigh Gardens in Southall where the business resides today and still under the ownership of one of the co- founders, Keith Manhood.
