I have eaten here loads of times and the food is always good. BUT...that isn't why I am leaving this review.
I needed a hamper asap and they had sold out, but that didn't stop Lauren, who put a perfect one together. She asked me what i needed and i just told her to do what she thinks is best. It was PERFECT. She was so helpful, so polite and hilarious as well.
You can always judge a company well by the people they hire! Happy Christmas Lauren!

We came here for a late brunch and were left quite disappointed. First of all when we sat down at the table we found that it was sticky, which is always incredibly off-putting.
I had the full Scottish breakfast, but pretty much everything on the plate tasted like it had been sitting there for hours. The hashbrown, black pudding, and potato scone were all hard (I could barely manage to cut the scone with my knife and fork), and the sausage and bacon were lukewarm and just a bit sad-looking. The beans had clearly been sitting out for quite some time as they had formed a bit of a skin. Only the mushrooms

A fab Sunday afternoon lunch. Great variety on the menu to keep carnivores and vegans alike more than happy which can be a problem when im eating out . Fresh food bursting with flavour and impeccably presented. Friendly proffesional staff and the restaurant itself has a wonderful ambiance. So glad we found this place.

The service was slow ; didn't bother me personally, I could see it was busy and I think we may have been the last 12 noon bookings to order. The servers were fine. The macaroni cheese had no cheese flavour and was on1 the dry side. The "banana" fish and chips was chosen by a veggie who thought it was poor, confirmed by someone else. Even if this was the chef's day off, as I suspect, I don't think this belongs on the menu, or any menu indeed. I had salmon salad, insipid dressing. The fourth person had two starters as a main, squid and cauliflower. They were excellent. Nice atmosphere, probably just

Sister establishment to Forgan's next door with the same cool vibe and great lighting. They squeezed us in on a busy Friday morning for a coffee and "crispy cake" and couldn't have been more accomodating, even after we took out our laptops so our daughter could complete some quick school tasks. Really impressive operation.

As the pub we’re staying at doesn’t serve a full Scottish breakfast, we researched for a café that served one in the area we were visiting. This place came up. It was absolutely fantastic. Food fresh, reasonably priced and delicious, staff friendly, and a real arty atmosphere. It was our first time visiting St Andrew’s too. Will definitely call again.
