Myself and my boyfriend stayed here for nearly a week! we extended our stay we were so blown away by Olwen our host. She is full of incredible knowledge on the surrounding area and suggested so many wonderful walks located in the most stunning location right at the base of Cadair Idris mountain range. She also gave us all information on all of the recommended beautiful local restaurants just a couple of miles away in the small quaint and beautiful town of Dolgellau and wow what a breakfast! What a lovely place to stay!!!! Sitting at the base of Cadir Idris itself, if your looking for peace and quiet, this is a place to strongly consider.
And if you've never had a three course breakfast before, you will most pleasantly surprised as to what is to offer.
The landlady is the most loveliest and most helpful person and knows the area like the back of her hand. Proudly Welsh, she is a grm of a person.
It is a fully working sheep farm but you could never tell if you didn't see the sheep running across a well tarmaced road. The internet may not be the best, not surpising given the location

Wow, what a place. Stayed there last week. The views outside are amazing. So close to so many walks and vistas.
The rooms are very nice, very clean and also have views to die for.
Olwen who is the owner is a lovely amazing woman. A great host with knowledge of the area spilling out of her. She will advise you on the walk for you. Olwen also gives you advice on the local restaurants.
The breakfast was 5 stars in my book. More food then one can manage.
So yes, if you want tranquillity with a spot of hiking then this is the place.

What a gem of a place!! Prefect location for Cader Idris - we could see the route & summit from our room. The host, Olwen, is extremely attentive & helpful and probably makes the biggest breakfast in Wales - you won’t need to eat all day. The room was beautiful and very clean. I would 100% stay here again and I highly recommend it.

This is a lovely B&B in a beautiful location, right at the base of Cadair Idris. We chose this B&B on the recommendations of friends, and we were not disappointed. The room was lovely and well-appointed, with a fabulous area to sit, relax and enjoy quiet and nature. The breakfast was beyond description. Olwen is the perfect hostess, providing her guests with a fabulous breakfast featuring homemade preserves, nutrient-packed smoothies, crunchy homemade muesli, and a full hot menu. She also went out of her way to give us recommendations for awesome walks and must-see sights. Being a working sheep

Superb B&B tucked away down a pretty rural valley on a working farm not far from Dolgellau. The rooms are large and well appointed with the only real downside being squeaky floorboards. The hostess is super welcoming and helpful. The breakfast is so good it could probably last you the whole day.
