CGL's "Rainscreen" system is a fully drained, ventilated and pressure equalised faade which forms the external aesthetic element of a multi-layer wall. The system's unique feature is the CS2 support grid which allows ultimate functionality by its 3-axis adjustability, giving perfect alignment of faade panels and joint lines.
CGL's "Wallplank" system is a fully drained and ventilated faade which forms the external aesthetic element of a multi-layer wall. The panels are supported by the CS1 extruded aluminium grid which offers variety of zone widths and excellent adjustability. This system also allows air movement at the bottom and the top of the elevation ensuring air movement in the cavity between the panel and the inner wall.
Extrusions can bring shapes and profiles to your facades that a folded panel or other materials cannot. This style of traditional cladding has assumed growing popularity in the UK market recently and CGL offer shingle systems in a wide variety of metals and finishes. This style of cladding is described as "fully supported" as shingles are historically manufactured from thin gauge metals and therefore have virtually no inherent spanning capability.
