Formed in 1888, Rochdale Golf Club is a visiting golfers delight, with rolling fairways and superb views. The present 18 hole course was constructed on Bagslate Moor just over 100 years ago and is now rated a top venue for county golf. Having risen from the ashes following a devastating fire to the old clubhouse in 2003, the new clubhouse boasts fantastic facilities for both our members and guests.

With the help of our team of professionals we will ensure that your event is seamless from beginning to the end. The function suite is versatile enough to be adapted to accommodate the more intimate gathering whilst being able to seat up to 150.

At Rochdale Golf Club we accept Golf Societies on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. 3. Visitors should be competent golfers and adhere to the Clubhouse/Course rules and dress code. Please Scroll Down for further details. 5. Two-seater ride on buggies are available to hire for 25.00 per round or 35.00 for full day hire.
Developed by The R&A and USGA in collaboration with existing handicap authorities, the benefit of the WHS over the current system is it combines the Rules of Handicapping and the Course Rating System. With golf being centred around one standard set of rules governed by The R&A and USGA, it makes sense to unify the previous six different Handicapping systems, making for a more inclusive and equitable sport.
Rochdale Golf Club welcomes applications for membership in all categories, however if any of the membership lists are full, you will be placed on the Waiting List. If you are unable to obtain the required number of Council Members signatures, an informal interview with the Captain will be arranged for you.

At Rochdale Golf Club we offer our function rooms for hire for both member and non-member events. Our function area can be segregated in to one room (the restaurant area) or two rooms (the restaurant and central bar area). All non-member functions must be sponsored by a current Rochdale Golf Club member.

I recently worked at the Rochdale Golf club as a DJ, it’s a great venue, the staff gave their full attention to the clients wedding day from start to finish, and everything was presented and run very professionally. Special credit has to be given to Andy who runs the bar for accommodating everyone with his consistent and enthusiastic professional manner; he is a real credit to the golf club. Anyone looking for a venue within the Rochdale area for any occasion should block out some time to go and have a look to see for yourself.
