A sump is an excellent choice of filter, particularly for a marine reef system. Sumps are best placed below the aquarium, usually in the cabinet (check dimensions). The main advantage of having a sump plumbed in to the aquarium system is the significant increase in water volume, making it more stable and less prone to fluctuations in salinity, pH and other water parameters.

Stumbled accross this aquatic Centre today. I was very impressed with how helpful and knowledgable the staff were. Even though I wasn't buying anything there today one of the staff members was more than happy to give up his time to give me advice. All of the tanks looked clean and the fish healthy. I'll definitely shop there in the future.
