We (Fay & Becky) love to sew, as much as we love to chat! When we failed in our mission to find a social and inspirational place in which we could indulge in our passion for sewing, we decided to create one ourselves! We wanted to make sewing as fun and accessible for everyone, from the true beginner to the super stitcher.
With a range of workshops, regular social sessions and sew by the hour our social sewing emporium is a place where sewing lovers can develop their skills and share their passion with others. Plus to make it even easier to make those gorgeous projects we've filled our shop with lots of mouth-watering goodies including our other great love- gorgeous fabrics!

Services
Pop in and see us, we have a range of sewing machines set-up, ready for you to try and have a play on! We'll also spend as much time as you need taking you through any of the sewing machines and questions you might have, and we actively encourage you to come back in once you've started to get to grips with your machine so we can go over bits you are unsure of, or take you through features you haven't been brave enough to try!
We still ask where possible you 'Click and Collect' - you can always top up and pick up extra items when you come to the shop. To maintain social distancing we'll have a maximum of 5 customer in the shop at one time, so there may be a possibility of having to wait outside.
If you're interested in testing out a sewing machine then please contact us to arrange an appointment, likewise if you don't feel comfortable shopping with others we can arrange a time for you to come it.We'll be in the shop processing your orders 4 times a week, orders sent by 'standard postage' will be sent 2nd class Royal Mail.

I went in to the cafe as I am new to quilting- I did not find the staff encouraging but I booked a course introduction to patchwork I paid my money late Jan early February - I have rang the cafe twice .
Once to check on the date and second to check if the course was going ahead due to CV 19
I was told that someone would contact me as they were ringing around people who were booked on courses
Well I am still waiting for my phone call,
In my opinion customer service very poor - through not fault of their own they had to close down but what’s
Happened to my money ???????
