Went up here the day with the boys but was warned its expensive totally wrong the guys in the shop are fantastic offered the kids half prices on stuff that was on sale very reasonable prices I mean 30 quid for a day out fishing come on give these guys a shout will definitely use as my first to go to for fishing rigs just need to open shop in Dalkeith /woodburn we're the Midlothian fishermen are

I'm a spinner (as in turning fleece into usable yarn) and was looking for a cheaper way to replace the tension band on my wheel. The guys in the shop where totally unphased by the randomness of this and sold me an appropriate fishing line to use. Very friendly and helpful.

Visited this shop for the first time 2 weeks ago on the recommendations of a colleague. Started off buying a landing net and finally left with a rod, reel and landing net. The staff are fantastic and make you feel at ease especially when you are starting out in the sport. Since then, I have made additional purchases online. In a nutshell, this business is well worth the visit, the staff are extremely knowledgable and friendly. If you can't make it to the shop in person, then visit online. The turnaround from purchase to delivery was about 2 days... well impressed.
