We provide a one-to-one service only. We do not believe in the use of cages or cabinet dryers for your little one. Your dog is free to roam within the salon and play in our garden area as it feels comfortable. Don't panic, it is dog proofed! We do not condone a conveyor belt system of booking appointments as your dog is as individual as you are and should be treated with that respect.
This system has proved to be beneficial as it creates a less stressful environment and the dogs seem happier and willing to always come back. Some dogs can be frightened of the grooming table and its surroundings due to an association with a visit to the vets. We will always carry out what is of the best welfare for your dog - even if it is not to the owners expectations although the owner would be made aware prior to any actions taking place.

No matter how hard we try there is always the risk that your dog could contract fleas. However if you arrive at the salon and your dog has fleas you will be turned away. If it is identified that your dog has fleas during the groom.
Although they will be de-flead and treated accordingly with the correct shampoo you will be asked to remove the dog immediately after and you will be charged not only for the groom but also the cost of cancelling the next client(s) appointment as the salon would require a thorough deep-clean and sterilisation.Please ensure we never have to have this awkward situation and check your dogs thoroughly prior to attendance.

Every dog is health checked and we are very upfront and honest with all clients. We will inform them of anything untoward should we identify it. We have access to vets and are members of the Pet Industry Federation that cover the British Dog Grooming Association so that your dog has advice / consultations from the best sources possible if needed.

So today was Loki’s first time ever in a groomers and I’m glad we chose Rayner’s. 🐾
Emma and Carol was so friendly and amazing with Loki, made me feel comfortable to leave him with them. He may not look happy… but he love it 🤍

These guys are amazing, really took their time with my little nervous ball of fluff on his first every grooming visit.
No muzzles, no crates! 1-1 service and freedom to roam around the salon.
Lots of treats, kindness and patience. He didn't want to leave!

We were so thrilled we found Rayner’s groomers in the next village! Emma is amazing with dogs and so gentle and caring with our sprocker spaniel who had never been to a groomers before and I worried how nervous… she would be!
Emma cleverly prepped us to get our dog, Nala, as comfortable as possible with an electric toothbrush handle rubbed all over her to get her used to the vibration of the clippers she would use (Nala surprisingly loved this!) and slowly introduce the noise of the hair dryer before our appointment. Delighted with the way that Emma grooms my 4 . I have 3 Irish Setters two of which are shown and i am so fussy about what they look like. Above all it's the way that Emma cares for them all..she is so gentle calm and understands their little ways. They love their day with her and come back show ready!! Emma was recommended to me and i am so glad i took that recommendation! she is amazing .
