Ducklings Narrowboat Hire is a small family business offering affordable boat holidays in Lancashire. We had dreams of life afloat following our first Narrowboat holiday, we loved the canal and moved all the way from Yorkshire to make our dream a reality.

We had a wonderful trip on the very well kitted out Duckling, every need was catered for, best shower, best cooker and best bed ever! on a narrow boat.

Excellent midweek break. The narrowboat Duckling was very clean and well maintained. Owners extremely friendly and knowledgeable would highly recommend using this company for a great narrowboat experience

A VERY lovely Canal Boat. Luxurious and clean, perfect for a relaxing break up and down the Lancaster Canal. The scenery around this part of Lancashire is beautiful, a photographers' paradise. "Duckling" is extremely well equipped for a family break anytime of year, absolutely everything is provided for you. Nick and June have worked very hard and succeeded in establishing a little bit of luxury on the Lancaster Canal.
