Services
Originally founded in 1984 as "Central Taxis Aberdeen" by Derek Smith. The company has grown substantially in the intervening years, to become one of the largest transport companies in the North East of Scotland, and now incorporates two more companies under the CENTRAL banner. The company now operates from its purpose built headquarters in Aberdeen.
In 2016 we purchased a brand new state of the art luxury coach to transport the 'First' team, which is the envy of many other teams. The coach features the very latest in comfort and technology, including WiFi connectivity, satellite TV, on-board DVD and reclining seats. The coach also incorporates a kitchen and even a built in treatment table to allow the club's physio to treat players on board if required.
Aberdeen City TaxisWe operate a large fleet of taxis ranging from 4-8 seaters. In addition, we were the first taxi company in the North East to operate a fleet of 'Euro 7 Cabs', these vehicles are all wheelchair accessible, which keeps our company at the forefront of the business! Our operation has the most up to date computerised booking and dispatch system, with all taxis having on-board Data Units.
They are also available for hire for any number of other occasions, however, if required, trips can be tailored to your own specific needs. Due to the size and diversity of our fleet we are capable of handling your needs no matter how diverse your requirements. We have coaches ranging in size from a 8 seat minibus up to 57 seat luxury coach.
School TransportWe transport over 20,000 school children safely every week around the North East of Scotland. We have existing contracts with most schools in Aberdeen and many in Aberdeenshire providing daily school transport during term time. Our reputation for providing a safe and reliable service has ensured that this area of our business has grown steadily over the years.

Do not use this company!!!!
We hired a coach for 4 day tour. During that tour we had driver Kenny who with his aggressive attitude and unprofessional approach ruined the whole tour. The company had a program well in advance but still this is just a part of what happened on the tour:
- driver was not prepared for the tour, missed turns, did not know where to go and where to park, as he never have been in most attractions before.
- driver was driving broken coach with people on board, until engine went to smoke.
- driver crushed into narrow gate and scratch the coach ( with people on
board)
