Pendruccombe House
Pendruccombe House has always worked hard to provide person-centred care, with the resident's quality of life our number one aim. Everything we do is geared towards helping them to get the most out of their stay at Pendruccombe House and to have a good quality of life. This ethos is built in to every aspect of Pendruccombe House, especially the recruitment of staff.

Alongside relevant skills and qualifications, we are looking for, above all, compassion and people skills, allied to a desire to make a difference to someone's quality of life. Moving forward from recruitment, ongoing staff development is all about improving that ability to help people within our homes.
Services
Pendruccombe House is a 31 bedded nursing home and a 23 bedded residential home, also providing respite and day care. The homes are privately owned by Mr Roger Smallridge and Mrs Nicky Smallridge who are very supportive of the Homes needs and are in regular attendance at the home. The Matron and Registered manager is Mrs Sue Briggs, who is responsible for the day to day running of the home.
We strive to make it our residents' home, a place where they can retain independence and personal freedom and live their lives with enjoyment and fulfillment. We have regular weekly entertainment including games, sing-along sessions, gentle exercise and regular reminiscence activities. We also welcome visiting entertainers to provide a variety of stimulating and enjoyable sessions and also enjoy regular outings.
