Thank you for visiting. I'm a natural light photographer based in Kirkintilloch near Glasgow. I specialise in Family & Children, Nursery and Contemporary School Photography. I am known for photographing outdoors using natural light and the colours of nature that surround us. My photo shoots are relaxed, individual and all about having fun allowing me to capture your children being children and your family being yourselves.
Smiles are great, but not essential. When we have fun and forget about the camera the most natural images happen. My aim is to create for you vibrant and beautiful photography of your children and family, for your home that you will love, for generations to come. I photograph families on location at a favourite park or place you enjoy, using our vibrant Scottish nature as our studio.

Services
I specialise in Natural Light, Children and Family Photography based in Kirkintilloch, near Glasgow. As well as spending lots of time behind the lens, I'm a wife and the mum of two fabulous young boys. I spend a lot of my spare time photographing my children, and as with all younger children they have such high-energy levels, very adventurous and naturally curious about the world around them.
I just love working with children and families. The spontaneity, curiosity and sense of adventure of children is enchanting. With families and all their differences and similarities its a privilege and joy to be given the opportunity to photograph this time in your life. This type of photography is all about creating memories.

We had an outdoor family photo session with Polly and to sum it up in one word - fantastic!
The session was purchased as a birthday gift in January 2020 and was booked for April 2020, we were unable to have the session in April and it was rescheduled to June. This time one of us was identified as a close contact and had to isolate so again we has to postpone it, it was again re-arranged for the 28th July and luckily it went ahead on that date. During this whole time Polly was so professional and kept in touch regularly.

Recently had Polly take pictures for my family and I (including our Labrador). They were exceptional and Polly is amazing planning and coordinating pictures before, during and after the photo shoot. Polly takes great care thinking of all the details from location, season, lighting, time of day, and even helping with outfits. The unique pictures and thoughtful details just make Polly the only choice I would ever consider for my family and I could not recommend her highly enough!!!

We used Polly for pictures of the grandchildren for a present-this is the third time she has photographed my son and couldn’t fault her. She was great at directing all the kids and getting the grown-ups involved to get some lovely smiles out of them! We are all really pleased with the final results and will definitely ask Polly to take more photos of the family in the future.

Polly was absolutely brilliant in facilitating our family photo shoot, which consisted of 5 adults, 3 children and off course our Dog! It took some arranging. Her patience was fantastic right through, as well as on the day itself, with her bringing the best out of us for the pictures. She has been brilliant at communicating throughout and has been very quick in delivering our beautiful pictures to put on our walls.

We had a family photoshoot with Polly on an early summer morning. Polly is super patient, engaging and enthusiastic on the shoot, putting a lot of effort into getting the shots but having fun at the same time. The results are fab and we're looking forward to putting them up and giving them as gifts to grandparents.

Fantastic experience with polly. She had endless patience with our 3 year old and managed to get some amazing natural pictures. Felt so comfortable and relaxed with her it made all the difference. Will be coming back for more shots as the little one grows up, if you'll have us of course!

Our family session with Polly Harris Photography was great. Photographing small children (and big children) is not easy and Polly made it look effortless. Polly adapted to our circumstances and had a lovely, patient and friendly approach. We had a fantastic time at the session and are delighted with the end product. Would highly recommend and will use again in the future.
