Called out A1 Tyre Services on Boxing Day bank holiday after experiencing a puncture 230 miles from home. Numerous other companies had claimed to offer out of hours emergency tyre services but seemed very reluctant to commit to repair times, call-out costs or even being able to service the requirement at all. After speaking with Len at A1 our minds were put completely at rest. On site in 45 minutes with a new tyre at a very reasonable cost and back on the road within 30 minutes. I contacted them via their website on a Sunday evening and had a response at 10 past 8 in the morning the next day. Although they had to order the tyre in they said that as I needed to get to an appointment in Scarborough they would, if the delivery was delayed, arrange for someone to come and fit the spare tyre to tide me over. The gentleman duly arrived at 2:45pm and on inspection said that it could be repaired and did just that. He was done by 3pm! Really great service and a good bunch of lads, straightened my alloy wheel at short notice and balanced the 3 others. Went above and beyond compared to other garages in the area. Definitely recommend if you need tyres or servicing.
