Discharging your battery to very low levels can cause irreversible damage, reducing its performance and ability to hold charge. Battery guards prevent this excessive discharge by disconnecting the battery from loads in an under-voltage situation. They also disconnect the battery in an over-voltage situation, so protecting sensitive electronic appliances from damage resulting from faulty alternators or chargers.

Have used this company many time & they are a good business & sell quality products, however they need to review their postage costs, minimum £4.95 even if like me you forgot to add one piece of wire to your last order, this added up to almost half the cost of the order.
Come on guys, it doesn’t cost you £4.95 in a padded envelope second class stamp or your time. You need to charge for the actual costs, not be making profit from postal charges.
I have been fair & left you a 5 star review based on service, products & staff.
For small products postage cost you should get 1 ⭐️ star.

Sad to be writing this as up to now have been very pleased with products from 12v planet and have recommended the business. Will seem petty but a £28 LED light I bought has leaked despite being IP67 rated. Out of warranty so 12v planet couldn't care less. No interest in trying to work with me to sort. If the products work for you great, but if there is an issue then zero interest in trying to solve it. Poor customer service.

Great place, they really know their stuff, I'm dangerous when it comes to DIY, mix that with electricity and I'm dam well lethal, light touch and paper, stand well back sort of thing, all I knew was I needed wire for my Off-grid solar project and that's it, however the chap on the phone recognised my mental short comings and so he knew all the right questions to ask, like do you have a carer lol. End result? He ordered all that I needed, gave me some good advice and my order arrived in a timely fashion, I even managed to wire everything up and as a special Brucie bonus I didn't die or blow the

Bought 6 lights which were not fully described regarding function and now i have a set of expensive lights i cant use, fitted as courtesy lights in vw kombi, lights default to off when doors shut so dont come back on when doors open again. Poor customer service and did everything to avoid returning lights or offering an alternative.

I've used these guys several times over the past few months and the quality of the products has been excellent.
I've had one occasion where they shipped the wrong items, it was dealt with in a very friendly and professional way and I had the correct items a day later, no complaints with the service.
