Services
As Sussex Cricket's charitable arm, our aim is to actively change lives through cricket across the community. We use the game and the Sussex Cricket brand to deliver accessible and enjoyable opportunities that grow the sport, tackle inequalities, improve health and wellbeing and enable people to fulfil their potential.
The club has made the difficult decision not to offer Blast Pass T20 season tickets for purchase or renewal in 2021. The ongoing possibility of a reduced capacity for matches this summer means it isn't financially viable for Sussex Cricket to offer discounted season tickets, particularly after a full season behind closed doors in 2020.
Sussex Cricket Limited is committed to ensuring the highest standards of organisational governance. It will demonstrate this commitment by constantly monitoring and seeking to improve performance in the area of 'corporate governance', including by embracing guidance issued by the relevant bodies such as Sport England and the ECB.
If you're new to the ground, this should help give you the necessary information you'll need to find your way around the ground. If you're a returning visitor, please fell free to read on as there may be some sections of the ground you've yet to experience. This area is reserved exclusively for Members on Match Days and home to many varying functions and events throughout the year.
Sussex Cricket Limited have developed a masterplan to deliver ground improvements at the 1st Central County Ground Hove in order to ensure the viability of the Club for future generations. The County Ground at Hove has a national and international reputation as being a cricket venue with great character set in the heart of Hove and close to the sea.

There is a good view of the action, no matter where you sit.
However, people must be encouraged NOT to move during overs, as per spectator etiquette.
The hospitality resource was woefully inadequate. While there seemed to be no queue for the bar for alcoholic drinks, it was impossible to get a hot drink without missing a substantial portion of the game. The air was chilly so there was a higher demand for hot drinks/food. My partner made 2 unsuccessful attempts to soly buy hot drinks so that he wouldn't miss too much of the match. The Greig's café must organise their set up better, in order that

Cam see the game clearly no matter where you are sitting. Maybe more officials making sure nobody keeps seat hopping and more places to get a hot drink. But other wise very good

Went to watch Sussex Sharks take on Essex Eagles in a T20 evening game.
Good night out.Great atmosphere throughout.
Parking not great as right slap bang in Hove near the seafront. Bonus for me is my son lives 30 seconds from the ground!! So didn't effect me personally.
Food and beer a bit pricey but that seems to come with the territory of professional sporting events.
£35 a ticket well spent.
Sussex won by 6 wickets with a massive 6 to win the match!! Come on you Sharks!!!

First visit in 609 days to see cricket played. Well organised to cope with Covid restrictions. Plenty of stewards around giving advice and directions. Pavilion open and serving food and drink. Just like the old days!

We were in the Newbury cricket shop next door to the Sussex ground, we were served by a very helpful young man, who helped us pick the right batting gloves for our son.

This is a testimony that I will tell everyone to hear. i have been married four 4 years and on the fifth year of my marriage, another woman had a spell to take my lover away from me and my husband left me and the kids and we have suffered for 2 years until i meant a post where this man Baba phoka have helped someone and i decided to give him a try… to help me bring my love Husband home and believe me i just send my picture to him and that of my husband and after 48 hours as he have told me, i saw a car drove into the house and behold it was my husband and he have come to me and the kids

I have attended the Surrey/Sussex cricket match and am incredibly disappointed at the behaviour that was tolerated. Sitting in a stand with families largely with children under the age of 10, throughout the day two groups of young men got more and more drunk and were allowed to disrupt the whole day for everyone else.
The impact was obvious as… increasingly seats were vacated in the whole area around them. It became so unbearable that we chose to leave the game at 6.30.
If alcohol is going to sold without limit then sufficient security should be in place to manage this behaviour.
The tolerance

Smaller than most grounds, makes it both
intimate, and versatile. Lovely venue with
a proud history. Ideal for private functions,
concerts, and of course the fantastic game
of cricket. Easy access.

Fantastic place to watch cricket. Always a wonderful atmosphere. Went to the T20 blast last night against Gloucestershire, which was an absolutely brilliant evening of entertainment. Always enjoy my visits to Hove to see my home county in action

One of the nicest days out you can have with friends is a summers day when Sussex are playing at home. I went down recently to a t20 game with a large group of friends (that included both cricket fans and people who didn't even know the rules) and it was a great night enjoyed by all. My tip for day/night games is even if it starts out hot in the daytime as soon as the sun drops below the grandstand it gets quite cold so take some layers with you so you can keep on enjoying yourself.

Having followed cricket at international level - on the tv at least - but having never been to a county game, I decided it was about time I set that right.
We went to a 20/20 match over the summer, and it was a lovely, relaxed experience, if a little drunken! Unlike football matches, it's possible to drink pitchside here. Unfortunately, this also means that it's difficult to keep your mind on the action, was you can end up a little booze addled!

I watched a couple of 20 20 cricket matches here and both times I had a cracking time. However, I went understanding what was going on so it is important just to do your homework first. In recent years cricket has been trying to attract more people so they have been setting rules which keeps the game from being too slow but the odd game can still be boring much like any other sport.

Tickets for most games are much cheaper than most football tickets plus with a team that won 2 trophies last year and were runners up in 1 the time is right to jump on board the band wagon.

I agree with Mike if you

I'd never entertained the idea of watching live cricket before the 2005 Ashes but since then I've tried to go at least once a year. Some might think that watching a day's cricket is a boring idea but if you're with the right people I assure you it can be a real laugh. Get drunk, shout a few insults and occasionally jump around in adulation. What more could you want?

Sussex County Cricket Club is the home of the notorious Sussex Sharks and plays host to numerous games during the cricket season. Tickets are usually £5 for juniors, £10 for students and £15 for adults but prices
