Services
At JA's we don't just carryout recharge of the air-conditioning system. Our air-conditioning service includes vacuuming of the full system and checking for leaks, before new gas and the correct amount of lubricant along with a leak detection dye is added to the system. Keep cool with our air conditioning recharge.
Diagnosis of vehicle faults will be carried out by a qualified motor technician and a plan of action will be discussed with you before any repairs are carried out. Most fault finding is done by the technician observing and listening to your vehicle, questioning you on details of how the fault came about.
An MOT test is required when your vehicle is 3 years old and then annually. The MOT covers safety-critical items on your vehicle including lighting, steering, suspension, brakes, tyres, wheels and seat belts. Remember it is illegal to drive a vehicle without a valid MOT Certificate unless you are driving it to a point where the MOT is to be carried out.
JA's Auto Services have the capabilities and equipment to be able to MOT, service & repair motorhomes. As the only garage in the area with these capabilities, we have had plenty of experience in working on motor homes of all sizes and specifications. Our extra large workshop, with high ceilings and top of the range ramps give us the edge when it comes to maintaining larger vehicles.

Had my car in for a Braking noise. Was very distressed and was worried of the damage it had caused. JA’s Auto’s was very professional in doing the repair. First time in 20 years that I've known a car to need a road test after having 4 tyres fitted 🤨though it's first time I've owned a decent car.. had tyres fitted to other cars there and never been took out for a joy ride afterwards... not impressed and won't be taking anything back there again

I have been using JA's since they opened and have always had excellent service. No issue is too small or too big to sort. They have never suggested any unnecessary work when it has gone in for its MOT or Service- as I have had with some other garages. Car came back today in tip top condition as always.

NOTHING!!!!! but they can be friendly, lol its their workmanship I have trouble with!!!!! First and last time I will let ja's Do any work on my van, won't go too much into detail as it would take too long, but let them do a "full service"????? Neadless to say the van came back from them a lot worse than when it went in Full service!!!! No way!!!!!! Certainly DO NOT RECOMMEND

New too the area and needed a new garage that I could use, JA's was reccomended and after being twice this month (2 cars MOTs due in same month) I can see why.
The first car I asked if I could drop it off on the Saturday for its MOT on Monday as I was at work and couldn't fetch it down Monday and they were more then happy me leaving it.
The second car I took down on the morning it was due and waited while it was done.
The staff are lovely and friendly, I did ask a few questions about my cars and the bloke on reception was able to help me with my queries.
The waiting room is clean and tidy and

Can’t thank Ja’s enough after yesterday, stuck with a flat tyre with a nail in not able to move and rang up asking about mobile tyre services, I was told this isn’t something they did however the guy on the phone told me he would try sort something out and would get back to me, he did and in a couple of hours a lovely guy was out and changed the tyre for me and put a new one on, really nice bunch of lads, I can’t remember the name of the man I spoke to🤔price was good too! Thank you so much and il be back soon☺️x
