A R J Construction
ARJ Construction was formed in Stevenage in 1991. In the years since, the company has steadily grown to become a leading Main Contractor with a reputation for delivering excellence and expertise throughout the South East. Our key sectors include residential (social and private tenure), commercial, education and healthcare; often working within logistically challenging locations.

Our success has been based around building and maintaining strong client relationships, with a focus on partnering and collaboration. As a result, approximately 70% of our business is with repeat clients or consultant teams. Typical project values range from 10 million to 35 million, contributing to a steady and sustained growth in turnover and profitability.

ARJ recently signed contracts on our latest project at 13 Orchard Close, Upper Gravenhurst, Bedfordshire. The 10.2m contract comprises the demolition of the existing buildings and.
ARJ Construction's success has been achieved through the skill, experience, enthusiasm and dedication of its people. We are continuing to experience exceptional growth and are currently working on a variety of exciting projects across London and the Home Counties. Accordingly, we are continuously seeking to recruit construction professionals, who are looking to be part of one of the industry's leading regional contractors.
Andrew founded ARJ in 1991, with the aim of providing a personalised and bespoke construction service across multiple industry sectors. He has since overseen the successful and stable growth of the business, which continues to embody this approach today. His engaging, hands-on personality has been instrumental to securing long term relationships with numerous clients, most notably in the healthcare sector which he is especially passionate about.
ARJ's commitment to the combination of Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) management is fundamental to the character and success of the business. ARJ is committed to conducting business in a professional and ethical manner. We take our corporate responsibilities seriously and work hard to manage the social, environmental and economic impact of our work on the world around us.
We fully recognise the effects the construction process can have on the environment and work hard to make our impact as positive as possible. Our approach is proactive and we have built up considerable experience in the management of waste and the use of sustainable construction techniques.

It is always our aim to go beyond compliance with industry standards and we pride ourselves on our ability to deliver environmentally responsible yet affordable solutions.

Car Reg. No. ET17 DYC was parked in a Disabled bay at Northampton Services on the M1 on the 28th July 2019. When asked if she was disabled, her attitude was very confrontational and rude, she said she was not, but was not moving as she has stomach ache. I explained the bays were for disabled only, and I would be happy to take a picture. At which point she did move. But this is disgusting behaviour and attitude.

One of ARJ Construction's vehicles is currently parked across a disabled bay at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hosipital blocking my daughter in and making her late for work. The driver has finally returned having been chased up by his company and he has told her "not to f***ing park there!"
Perhaps a little diversity training is called for! And a look at your company's social responsibility if you're going to work in a hospital environment.
I have had to post one star to be able to post this review.
