After attending Bournemouth University where he achieved a BA (Hons) degree in Television Production, Steve moved into Events Management industry as a Project Executive. Working his way up over a number of years, his background includes experience in both the agency and corporate side of events.
Having worked as an Event Manager for Lloyds Banking Group, his understanding of the corporate environment and what is important when working with an agency, has been central to developing the ethos of Hippo Events.Steve places a great emphasis on a proactive approach to working. Our education and development is crucial to our success. To help facilitate this, Hippo run a continuous education programme, ensuring we are always at the forefront of the events industry. We dedicate a minimum of one day a month solely committed to viewing venues in addition to attending partner and venue networking events, industry showcases, educational office meetings and FAM trips.

The venue market is constantly evolving with new offerings and refurbishments popping up across the globe. Our venue finders spend a substantial amount of time each month visiting and researching venues to ensure we are at the forefront of venue knowledge. If we're not visiting the venues directly then you can find us regularly attending industry trade shows to ensure we have the contacts and relationships to benefit our clients.
