I can trace my family tree back to the mid 1500s, where my illustrious forbear Thomas Hollingsworth could be found plying his trade as a pork butcher in Smithfield. Perhaps not the most exotic ancestor, but for me it provides a pleasing echo across the centuries and perhaps explains why I am now the sixth consecutive generation of my family to be engaged in the pursuit of producing fine food from the noble pig.
It's fair to say that ham curing is in my blood! Having studied Food Science at University I joined the family meat business before branching out in 1997 and taking over the helm at Dukeshill from the founder (another relative!). I am very fortunate in having built a great team around me, which means that I can spend slightly more of my time indulging my other interests, most of which involve food!

Bespoke to us our Chicken & Ham Pie is made using our own slow cooked ham hock meat, pot roast chicken and herbs to create a top notch, creamy version of this classic pie. This rich and tasty casserole, the epitome of homely French cooking, is made especially for us in France with the choicest cuts of beef and red wine.
Our Black Pudding is made the old-fashioned way -with fresh rather than dried blood - for a really special flavour! Hand made in small batches here at Dukeshill our granola is crammed full of nuts and fruit and coated in a generous quantity of honey (not sugar) before being gently toasted to bri. The very best sausages, bacon and black pudding for the perfect start to your day, just add toast!
Perfect as a slow-roast treat, a few hours in the oven will allow the generous marbling of fat to baste the meat, and the rind to crisp into delicious crackling. This boneless joint is the very best part of the lamb leg with the shank, chump and bone removed. The tenderest, most succulent steaks, generously marbled, and with just the right level of fat to bring out their exceptional flavour.
Made by hand here at Dukeshill to our own recipe, these decadent Chocolate Tiffins are outstandingly good. If like me, you grew up devouring a certain 70's blonde chocolate bar you are going to love these! These delectable truffles are made by infusing rich, whipped cream chocolate ganache with Marc de Champagne, which is encased in a perfectly smooth chocolate shell before being gen.
From a fourth-generation wine-maker, trained in Burgundy before taking over the family estate in pursuit of real and uncompromising quality. Unusually, all grapes are de-stemmed and then half the wine lies in tank, and half into barrels. Aromas of ripe plum and blackberry, black fruits and fresh fruit flavours fill the palate.

Would recommend. Good and great delivery and the staff are lovely and friendly. The food is out of this world, especially the ham and pies. The gluten free chocolate brown is also a massive hit in my house too. The prices are just right for the quality of the food. The best meat I have ever had. I always use them and so do the rest of my family.

We had a Christmas hamper ordered to arrive in 23rd December. It didn't. I rang and spoke to customer services on Christmas Eve. They had a record of despatch, but no record from the courier to enable tracking. They promised to look into it and call me back. They claim they tried, but couldn't get through. There were no missed calls on my phone, but I received an e-mail offering a refund, and the suggestion that the hamper "might" still turn up- it didnt.I had to charge to the supermarket to try and replace the items we needed for Christmas. Wholly unimpressed and still waiting for an effective

Had order delivered 19th Dec 2021. One of the items a PORK PIE has a use by date 21st Dec 2021. Just 2 days to use. Wanted pie for Boxing Day, but will not be using out of date product.Their QC dept needs to be looked at. Have tried to phone but only get hold reply. No one wants to answer. Have sent e'mail complaining but to date they have not answered. Not showing Dukeshill in a favourable light. I doubt i will be using them again to order Christmas food again.I await their reply.

Ordered all our Christmas meat, lot of hard earned money and saving for it. Placed our order in November of booked delivery date 23rd of December and today told us it's not coming. Refund yes but not before Xmas. Which means we can't go out and get replacements high hopes for the company but what a let down. Advice from me and my family...to try a nice local butcher instead.
