Learn to play Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Keyboards (Piano) or Drums at top quality, family-friendly music classes for cool kids and teens, or online private lessons for age 8 to adult. Children and teenagers from all over South East London and North West Kent have been coming together since 2008 to play in a rock band at every weekly class, and perform in live gigs and community events!
We now also offer online private lessons via Zoom for children and adults. Our simple and unique teaching approach has been developed specifically for the needs and interests of this age group, and enthusiastic beginners who want to play from day one! AllStars was a real find! The tutors are patient and encouraging and my son's skills have developed and increased beyond belief.

Services
AllStars Rockschool has been running in SE London since 2008, starting out in Sidcup & Chislehurst for six years, before relocating to larger premises in Welling in 2014. Our ethos is reflected in our name - AllStars. Whatever their levels of skill, we aim to show that the students are ALL STARS!
Our priority is to help ALL students to shine through music in their own way, by removing the complexities and formality of traditional music lessons which often stifle creativity and undermine confidence.

Book your free 30 minute ROCK@home taster lesson on your choice of guitar, bass, keyboards or drums. Instruments available to borrow for your taster, subject to availability. Our new ROCK@home lessons are private tuition, held safely live online using Zoom, the face-to-face video meeting app. Learn on a 1:1 basis for 30 mins weekly, with our dedicated AllStars Rockschool team of tutors.
Every weekly class lasts for a full hour, beginning with 45 minutes of close tuition, working in pairs of just TWO students to each tutor, followed by 15 minutes of a rocking jam session. We keep it simple and easy to understand, helping even young students to get playing music quickly. It's NOT like school and there's no complicated jargon or confusing notation to learn before getting started.
If you're looking for guitar lessons, you'll maybe already know how to play guitar a little or may be a complete beginner. Whatever support you need to get started or improve, your rockschool guitar tutor will be able to help and encourage at all times.
Electric guitar is usually considered the definitive sound of rock music (Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page) whilst acoustic guitar is more common amongst singer/songwriters (Oasis, Bob Dylan, Ed Sheeran, David Gray).

If your heroes are Flea, Lemmy or John Paul Jones, you'll want to learn to play bass guitar right away! But often bass guitar lessons are a natural next step for electric guitarists, drummers or keyboard players - they see how cool it is, love the sound that it adds to the band and curiosity gets the better of them!

My 6 year old has just started online drum lessons. He had a taster lesson before joining up and all contact with the school has been nothing but friendly and there is no pressure to sign up.
The lessons and tutor have been amazing, i thought the initial lessons may have been a bit boring to learn the basics and thought my son might have lost interest but a few months in and glad to report the opposite. The lessons are fun and engaging and my son looks forward to each one. (He has told my wife and I that we aren't allowed to cut his hair anymore so he can be a rock drummer just like his tutor

Couldn't recommend this music school highly enough. They've been running for years and it's easy to see why.
It's a great place to go, with lovely young teachers that the children really look up to. Always very helpful and nothing is too much trouble.
Each child shares their teacher with just one other child, which is great value compared to cheap options in groups when the teacher can't really help anybody. Everyone plays as a band at the end of every lesson which is brilliant to watch and sounds brilliant too.
