Winnens is a long established family run leading flooring and contemporary furnishing specialist in Cheltenham and Cirencester, Gloucestershire, built on trust, reliabilty and customer satisfaction. Our business was first started in the East End of London back in 1929 manufacturing furniture and Frank Newell began work there as a 17 year old.
The team at Winnens have been a pleasure to work with, from the moment we walked into their elegant showroom. We were shown many samples of Karndean flooring, and options for different borders, etc. When our Karndean kitchen floor was laid, it could not have been more beautiful, or perfectly installed.
As a company we are concerned about our environmental responsibilities and actively seek out products that are sustainable and reduce our carbon footprint. In particular we look for products that do not have VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) or other chemicals which can cause health and environmental issues.
Spring Bond underlay is made using state-of-the-art technology and is manufactured from a carefully selected blend of 85% recycled fibre types from a number of sources including PET bottles and other single use plastics. The fibres have no harmful Volatile organic compounds (VOC's) and don't require flame retardant treatment, already achieving 'low radius' classification to BS4790.
