Waxing is a semi permanent method of hair removal. Hair can be removed from almost any part of the body leaving a smooth finish. The hair is removed from the root with either strip wax or hard wax, depending on whether you are waxing intimate areas (brazilian waxing & hollywood waxing) or large areas (leg waxing & arm waxing).

I set up my waxing room after finding it very difficult to find a therapist I felt comfortable with. I would travel miles to get my waxing done and most of the time found it difficult to get an appointment with my therapist. After trying various different salons and therapists I decided it was time to take the plunge and from that Ouch was born.
I have had my eyebrows waxed and shaped for over 20 years at various beauticians but found Sonel at "Ouch!" by far the best. I was made to feel relaxed and have now been back twice for my eyebrows and other waxing. It was also cheaper than others that I have used and I also liked the smell of her wax!
1 If the hair is too short then the wax won't be able to grab it so a minimum of 1/2 a cm will be required for a good result. If you have been shaving then the hairs will have become blunt and coarse and more difficult to remove, so 1 cm is better in this case. If you are in any doubt, it is better to leave it too long than too short as any hair that is too long can be trimmed down before the waxing.
