I received my catalogue for the forthcoming sale this morning along with a letter saying that not all lots are listed "to adjust the carbon footprint". I see no point whatever in producing and distributing a catalogue that does not list all items. Indeed, the carbon footprint could have been reduced by not sending one to this vendor, none of whose lots are even listed let alone illustrated. It's not even as if it's related to estimate value. Frankly, it's insulting and the incomplete catalogue has gone straight in the recycling when formerly I'd have browsed through it. I will not be using this

Total crooks , as a dealer , spending thousands , i used to use them a lot but then had incident where i bought items from their general sale which subsequently turned out to be stolen and they sent police to my home address to retrieve goods without informing me, the goods were seized , quite rightly as they were stolen but when i asked for refund they refused and said it was not their problem . eventually got money back after legal intervention but not nice people to deal with.

Total Thieves! We took a family heirloom watch and albert chain to one of their 'valuation days' . The lady didn't have any scales with her (!!??) so she said she would hold onto the piece & let us know. When collecting the item, the chain had been switched for something much lighter. Refused to believe us. Filthy magpies. We should have involved the police.
