Glendinning Groundworks Ltd was established in Innerleithen in 1964 where it remains to this day. Originally founded as Glendinning Bros by Graham and Walter Glendinning then later joined by Billy, Leslie and Sandy Glendinning, the Company still remains very much a family orientated business with Managing Directors Norman, Alistair, Robert Glendinning, the sons of the original brothers following in the family footsteps.

Glendinning Groundworks Limited is a civil engineering and agricultural contractor, based in the Scottish Borders, specialising in the design, pre-construction advice, construction, commissioning and maintenance works for water, hydro electric and wastewater infrastructure projects. The Company was established in 1990, although has been trading as Glendinning Bros since 1964, as a civil engineering and agricultural contractor.
We cover all aspects of land drainage issues from minor repairs to large scale new drainage systems. On the smaller scale we will consult with the client on how best to repair any damaged drainage system. We also use a drain jetting system to clear any systems that require to be unblocked where possible.
Crofthead Farm Near Moffat (100KW) - 1.1 km of 315mm HPPE penstock, new intake and the construction of a new powerhouse due for completion in spring 2015. Touch estate Stirling (100KW) - 1.2 km of 400mm HPPE penstock, new intake and the construction of a new powerhouse with tailrace due for completion spring 2015.
