Services
Here at Enable, we are committed to treating our clients and staff as individuals at all times. We work hard to support our clients with whatever needs they have. Providing consistent support from a small team of workers is the recipe for good support and care in our experience and the relationship we form with clients, their families and the professionals supporting them is the foundation to everything we do.
We have a team of people who bring with them a wide range of life and work experiences - which adds so much to what they can offer to the people we support. We always try to match the right workers to each client and we know that getting the right combination of personality and skills is crucial to meeting our clients' needs and making sure they are happy with their support.
Enable was set up in 2008 by Debbie Boyes. Debbie is a Mental Health Nurse with more than 25 years' experience in working with people with a range of mental health problems. In her NHS career, Debbie worked as a Specialist Nurse in Mental Health and developed and managed various teams including Assertive Outreach, Early Intervention in Psychosis and Home Treatment.
Here at Enable, we always aim to work in the most transparent way possible. Sometimes we get things wrong - we admit this and we like to try to put things right as quickly as possible and learn as much as we can from our mistakes. If you feel unhappy about the service you have received from us, please use our Policy to help us resolve this.
When a member of our family or a friend suffers with a mental illness, not only is it upsetting and worrying to see, but it can also be challenging as well and knowing the best way to support them can seem difficult. Our information below covers a wide range of mental health conditions with signs and symptoms of what to look out for.
