Directive 94/20/EC was introduced as part of EWVTA to provide a common standard throughout the European Community, thus creating an open market. First class service at the Edinburgh branch, Peter was 100% professional in every aspect. He took the time to explain to us how the Towbar worked and how to fit and secure the cycle carrier.
Would highly recommend anyone to visit Buchans if they need either a towbar or a cycle carrier to pay these guys a visit.

Brilliant service.
I had been let down by my main dealer as parts to fit a Tow Bar had been delayed on the Evergiven in the Suez Canal. Grant at Buchans seems to have contacts that find the parts others cannot, and gave me a good price and an early fitting date.
The Tow Bar was fitted in under 3 hours, demonstrated and works perfectly. I'm particularity pleased that when detached, everything disappears.
And a lifetime guarantee!

Jordan was fantastic as were the fitters. Talked me through the process, quoted a competitive price to wire up my towbar electrics (I had fitted the towbar). Other companies had talked down my work and made it clear that they were not happy that I had done half the job. Buchans were quite the opposite, had no issues that I had installed the towbar, understood it was to save money and even checked over my work for free. They managed to squeeze me in there and then and dropped my car back off at my work once finished. Will be coming back here for all my towing requirements. Keep up the good work

Just had a westfalia detachable tow bar fitted to my 2016 ford s max 2.0L titanium sport AWD Automatic. Absolutely delighted with the result as I was quite nervous beforehand because I knew a bumper cut was required. Jordan was excellent in explaining the process and put my mind at ease before the fitting. I was introduced to Peter who was going to undertake the job and he assured me the bumper cut would be minimal and neat. Four hours later and Jordan called to say my car was ready.

Thursday 20 August 2015. I'm sitting in Buchans for Towbar at Newbridge watching my car being fitted with my new towbar. First can I say Jordan is a most helpful and knowledgeable chap. He has spent about 15 minutes with a potential customer and the breadth of knowledge on the matter of Audi genuine products and the miriad of variations versus Buchans adaptor products (they stock both and fit for Audi dealerships amongst many other dealerships). Andy fitted my towbar and its function was inspected by another fitter.
