As a beautiful, calming and relaxing addition to your home decor - nothing quite compares with a colourful aquarium - inhabited by stunning fish and plants. And for the children especially, an aquarium, with freshwater, tropical or marine fish, is a valuable encounter with nature. In practice an aquarium can be of any size but the most popular are in the 125 litre (3 foot) to 500 litre (5 foot) range.
If you have Metal Halide or T5 fluorescent on your aquarium, we'd recommend you seriously consider switching to the latest generation of LED lights. LED's are brilliant for bringing-out the colour of your fish and particularly beneficial for coral in a marine aquarium. FILTRATION cleaning & maintenance - tackled on a regular or one-off basis, making a big difference to water clarity and balance.

Earlier this year Dan did a major refurb of our pond. A few weeks ago he returned to adjust the plumbing. Both visits involved standing in the pond in his waders. On another occasion I too climbed in to place a heavy pot of lilies.
About this time the pond developed a leak, losing a couple of inches a day. Dan returned and found no fault with the plumbing, suggesting that the pond liner was punctured. He emptied the water into a large reservoir he had brought with him. He found the puncture, and against my expectations, produced a puncture repair kit.
Happily all is now working well with no leakage

A great place with knowledgeable, kind employees who explained which fish I should have and made sure I had the right equipment for them, as well as giving their business card to contact them if I had any problems. My fish are so happy and they looked just as happy in their tanks when I got them from this shop. Overall a great trip out!

We went into their shop not knowing what we wanted to upgrade our existing tank, but Andy talked us through the options and explained everything to us very clearly. Dan was also very helpful and we cannot thank them enough as we now have a lovely aquarium set up in our home. Aftercare was also very good as we had one or two questions regarding the installation and they even sent us some spare hose. So thank you guys very much.
