Gates made from wood can suffer from natural warping and splitting and especially when used as automatic gates as the forces imposed on the structure of the gates can amplify these inherent problems.
Here at First Choice gates we offer a steel frame with hardwood infill, tongue and groove to combine both strength and the natural beauty of wood or a low maintenance composite tongue and groove as an alternative to natural wood, which has the same strength and gives a more uniform appearance.

We produce standard railings that are look heavy in appearance using a minimum of 20mm square box section and round with an array of finial heads to suit your individual requirements. We again produce heavy looking bespoke and unique designs which are tailored to suit an individual property and can be tailored to complement our other gate designs.
