Services
All dogs require daily exercise and most dogs enjoy the company of their own kind. Our dog walking service is ideal for the dog owner who is out at work during the day, unable to walk their dog due to illness, other commitments or when family and friends cannot help. We cater for all ages and sizes of dogs.
Whilst most cats are independent and are ok for a few days on their own, our cat sitting and feeding service is ideal for the cat owner who does not want to put their cat into a cattery and does not want to bother friends or family.
The service includes feeding your cat and making sure your cat has plenty of fresh water, we will clean and change any litter boxes, clear up any mess made and check that your home is secure, we can also provide you with a quick text message if you would like to be kept up to date.Our pet sitting and pet feeding service is ideal for the pet owner who will be away for a few days or who owns pets that cannot be boarded elsewhere.

A new service we have introduced is our dog waste clean up service. We know that cleaning up after your four legged friend has just done it's business is not one of the most enjoyable aspects of owning a dog. All of us have at some point said to ourselves "I'll clean it up later", when later does finally arrive the garden or yard is covered in doggy doo and our motivation to clean it up goes completely out the window.
Our pet taxi service is designed for the pet owner who does not have their own transport or who would prefer to keep their own car free from pet hairs and smells and need their pet taking to the vets or to the grooming salon. We also know from experience that many taxi companies do not like to take pets in their cars.
One of the area's that is situated close to Pitsea is Vange Hill open space, this is a 30 arce site of former plotlands and is now a local nature reserve, perfect for the dog walker living in the Vange area. There are some great views overlooking the South Essex marshes and the Thames estuary, most of the open pathways are good for dog walking all year round and the area is wide open in places which is perfect for letting the dogs off.

5+ plus stars. Mark is amazing from the first time we met him and our animals he was a natural and our animals just clicked with him. We have been using Mark for over a year now and we are so grateful for him looking after our animals and treating them as his own. I would highly recommend Mark to other fellow owners who love them animals as he will love them just as much. He is so professional, responsive, respectful and caring. He goes well above and beyond. From popping in and looking after our animals to taking Belle to the vets he is just amazing.

The bond Mark has with my large dog is irreplaceable. Mark is friendly, reliable and knows how to work with dogs of all sizes, especially larger breeds. I started using Mark when my other dog was too ill for walks, it was only a temporary basis. Although, now I could not cancel his services, I owe it to my dog who absolutely loves his walks with Mark. Mark has walked my dog now for a good 3 years if not longer. 100% recommend.

I was Mark's first ever customer when he set up Cherish Your Pets.
And it's a scary thing to hand over the keys to your home and the wellbeing of your dogs to a complete stranger! That was 10 years ago.
He took on my first two Beagles, Millie and Monty, and lets face it, Beagles can be quite 'challenging' ;)
Come rain or shine, Mark has always been so reliable. Even when he's sick he doesn't cancel.
I am now on my second pair of Beagles, Lexi and Watson, and I know they give him the runaround but he's had lots of practice now!
