Knowing Mrs Rachael Raschke has been a blessing to Me, my family and friends, there's no disputing the fact that she is the best account manager ever. I just made another withdrawal few moments ago, it was so great this is really an opportunity knowing you wow friends I can't be so selfish enough to enjoy this blessing alone you can always contact… her directly so she can help you too. My partner and I visited the Malt Shovel on 26th November 2021. The staff were welcoming and attentive, without being obtrusive. The place was busy with every table being occupied. The food and drinks ordered arrived in a timely manner. The beers and wines were well kept. The food was delicious and well presented.
An excellent evening. Thank you

Really lovely Sunday roast with superb dessert. The quality is all important and this place doesn’t disappoint. You come away feeling well-fed and well looked after: the level of service would not be out of place in the USA - the waiters actually smile at you!! - and everything is nice and clean. If you are a bloke, a visit to the loos will bring about a very good laugh, but I shan’t spoil the surprise. All in all a really wonderful place and you’ll feel glad that you went and dined there.

A really great gastro pub, serving very high quality food.
The main pub has a nice atmosphere and also sports and open log fire at one end (great for cold winter nights). Maybe a little loud due to the tiled floor.
The annex, next to the pub, is more like a restaurant (which I preferred) and is lovely to dine in.
Lots of parking spaces around the property.
The prices reflect the quality of the food - £20-25 for two courses (Dec' 2017).
