Rudgwick Pharmacy is a family owned private phamacy located in the village of Rudgwick, on the Sussex/Surrey border. We take great pride in the personal service we give to all of our customers, always trying to obtain those "hard to find" or "old fashioned" items that can sometimes be so elusive. Our core focus is the supply of prescription medication to local care homes, delivering as far as Ewhurst to the North and Henfield to the South.
We also offer a prescription collection and home delivery service to individuals who find it difficult to get to the pharmacy or to their GP surgery. Services available from the pharmacy include free NHS Healthchecks (subject to certain criteria). If you do not meet the criteria for a free NHS Healthcheck, then we do offer a private service - Please follow the link for more details.

Services
We have a comprehenisve stock of prescription medicines in-store. If for some reason we do not have the prescription items you require, we have the ability to source most items for the next working day. Our computer system allows us to keep comprehensive records of the medication we dispense to you.
We strongly recommend you request your repeat prescription a minimum of 5 working days before you run out of your medication. If you have less than 2 days supply, please contact your surgery directly and ask for an urgent prescription to be issued to us.
If you are a regular patient with us and have been consistently receiving your medication from us, we may be able to provide an "emergency supply" (For certain medication only and at the discretion of the responsible Pharmacist on duty). Please speak to the Pharmacist about this.

Please hand your prescription in at the Pharmacy counter and the dispensary team will prepare your medication. Our Pharmacist is always on hand to answer any questions or concerns you may have about any medication you are taking. Please do not hesitate to ask if you are unsure of the dosage of your medication and if you are concerned about any potential side effects.
The Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) is an NHS Service. It gives you the chance to change how your GP sends your prescription to the place you choose to get your medicines or appliances from. If you collect your repeat prescriptions from your GP you will not have to visit your GP practice to pick up your paper prescription.
One of the main roles of your local community Pharmacy is to provide face to face advice on many health related issues. If the Pharmacist feels that there is someone who can better assess your needs, they will direct you to that person. There are many websites that offer health related advice, but one of the best is NHS Choices.

Very lovely team. Understanding as I was in a flap (went on holiday leaving tablets at home). I had called my gp for an emergency Rx and they sent it to my regular Pharmacy but Rudgwick answered their phones quickly when called, looked out for my Prescription and called me when it was there. Very proactive, very friendly, great communication. My Prescription was ready when I arrived. We all had a laugh in the end!
