Every wedding is unique, so my goal is to photograph the day as it unfolds, through my eyes and use light and composition in a creative and beautiful way. I know it's really important to get the balance just right by capturing a wide range of moments - from the excitement of getting ready, to the emotions of the ceremony, to the partying in the evening.
I am based in Belfast, Northern Ireland but cover a wide area (all of Ireland and the UK) and travel internationally as well. Services
All packages include full photographic coverage of the day from bridal preparations in the morning until 4-5 songs after the first dance. This package includes a bespoke USB pen drive containing your full resolution, professionally edited photography (usually around 700-800 images). You will also receive 15-20 complimentary printed images all presented beautifully in a handcrafted wooden slide box.

What can I say...James captured our day so beautifully - the photos told the story of our wedding day so well. James is such a kind and friendly soul to work with and we were so relaxed with our more intimate photos. I can't narrow down to my absolute favourites because we love them all! He has given us memories for life. Highly recommend and cannot thank him enough :)

James is brilliant!! From start to finish we couldn’t have asked for a better photographer!! Neither of us like getting our photo taken and were worried our photos would look awkward and posed but we couldn’t have been more wrong!! James put us both at ease, from first thing in the morning when we where getting ready with our families right through to our first dance!! He fitted in seamlessly to our day and captured every moment perfectly!! We couldn’t have asked for a better person to share our special day with and the photos will act as memories of the day for the rest of our lives!! Thank

I honestly cannot recommend James McGrillis enough for his easy going attitude and amazing photography skills.
We got married in May 2019 @ Riverdale Barn, however live in Melbourne Australia, which we thought would cause a few issues in regards to logistics/chatting with James re our ideas etc - this couldn't be further from the truth. James was super accommodating and there was a real collaborative feel during all of our discussions.
On the actual wedding day James' ability really shone through, my wife and I both commented on how comfortable we felt the whole day and that we didn't feel pressured

WOW!!! That is the only word I can think of to sum up our entire experiance with James. He has been so easy to work with from our first enquiry to designing our wedding album. On the day of the wedding, he blended in like he was a part of the family and everybody LOVED him!! Such an friendly and professional guy. We were not just getting our pictures taking on our wedding day we were having a serious laugh.
