From a young age, Emma always knew she wanted to run her own company, she just wasn't quite sure exactly what that company would do. So when she'd had enough of her role as a solicitor at a top law firm she put her mind to find the perfect opportunity and along came Maria Modes. Established for over 10 years at the time, and with a great foundation to work with Emma knew she'd found her dream project.

Well what can I say, lovely shop and absolutely stunning clean and well presented dress selection. Sandra helped my find my dream dress, she was so kind and made me feel so special and confident , nothing was too much of an ask for me and my mum and grandma. I cannot wait until I can go back!

Thank you to Maria Modes. What a fantastic experience my daughter had trying on prom dresses with Laura, she was brilliant. From the moment you walk in they make you feel comfortable and at ease. We were offered drinks on arrival, which is such a lovely touch. When it came to trying on dresses nothing was to much trouble, even down to taking… dresses off the mannequin for my daughter to try on. I had the greatest experience at Maria Modes! They made every moment of the process fun and comfortable, which is quite a feat considering all the COVID restrictions in place. I didn't expect to find my dress here, but they have such a wide collection, that I think they'll have something for everyone. Sandra looked after me when I first came in to… try on the dresses, and then during my fitting when I decided to go with one that I'd tried on. I had a bit of a particular situation as I was moving to Italy before my dress was going to be ready. Emma, the owner, made the whole process easy

I had the most amazing experience at Maria Modes on 23rd December 2020. My appointment was with Becka and she was amazing! She knew all about the dresses and was excited and enthusiastic and honest. She made it… super special! It felt so safe but also relaxed in regards to covid. And most importantly I said yes to the most amazing dress, which I am so excited to wear- I look at the photo of it every single day 🙈 Thank you so much Becka I look forward to seeing you later in the year!

I panicked when I realised we were going into lock down and bridal shops were closing, but you have gone above and beyond to ensure I can still find the dress in lock down; from phoning me to reassure me, to working your staff around… my working hours and generally being amazing - thank you!
I am honestly so grateful and would urge any bride panicking about finding a dress to contact you! Thank you so so much again. I can’t wait for my Zoom appointment next Tuesday! 🥰

Could have been so much better. Mens suit order was incorrect, out of 7 suits, one was the right order. Promised replacements on next day delivery but they came the day after. However it was all sorted. What really upset me was the woman in the shop was really off hand, to the point of being rude. I was happy to accept the error but she annoyed me. She was also very off hand this morning when I took the suits back. From what I can see, one woman is really nice and one is very impatient and off hand, not what I would expect. This was about the fifth shop I visited on my bridal gown mission and there were certainly some beautiful dresses in the shop from several designers. The whole wedding dress buying thing is an experience that stays with you and unfortunately I just didn't feel that the woman in the shop was very interested, I felt as though she decided the second I walked in that I wasn't buying a dress (which I was!) and she couldn't be bothered, not rude, just bored. I found it offputting and couldn't concentrate on the task in hand - a let down
