First Rate Training specialises in the provision of affordable training courses. Our training is provided by personnel with an emergency services background in either the fire and ambulance services or the police force. This is our unique selling point, and continues to be our greatest strength. First Rate Training has been in operation since 2000, providing first aid training services to the public and private sectors and to individuals.
Employers have, as stated in The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981, both a legal and moral obligation to provide their staff with adequate first aid training making sure that, should an employee become injured or taken ill whilst at work, they receive immediate attention from a qualified first aider.
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order (RRO) legislation is making business owners and management responsible for the safety of their staff. We offer a complete training programme to educate and train staff, managers and business owners in fire safety, with the added first-hand experience of our firefighting personnel.
Our team of consultant environmental health practitioners provide comprehensive food hygiene training. Courses can be delivered on site at your premises or at a venue provided by us. We aim to make our food courses fun and interesting, incorporating practical scenarios which are relevant to your working environment.
