Full central heating with back-up system and standby generator to cope with emergency power cuts. Gardens with allotments for service users to grow and take ownership of their own plants and vegetables. Special toning and massaging Bed available for residents who wish to relax whenever they require.
We currently have 2 residential care homes within the Barleybind group, which are committed to the provision of excellent family run care in a friendly home like setting. We have an open door policy and would be delighted if you would please visit us and experience the environment and homely care we provide.
We are always looking for good quality employees who avidly take an interest in care for the elderly and are looking to progress their careers in the care sector. All our employees are supported in terms of in-house training, vocational qualifications and training in care standards. We currently have vacancies, at our Llys Y Coed Care home in Llanelli and are always looking for good quality employees for our other homes.
Today marked an historic day at Cartref Ael-Y-Bryn as the home saw its first resident go online and into the internet age. Edward 'Ted' Puddephatt was the pioneer in making cyber contact with his family, who endeavour to maintain regular face-to-face contact with Ted, despite living a long distance away from the home.
